Earlier in the year the Assessor warned that homeowners should anticipate a 25% increase in their property taxes, on top of the 8% budget increase, caused by the widening gap between commercial and residential values. Pitchforks and lanterns in Council chambers, the Council would have gotten the heave-ho at the next election. For the city manager, this is HER dream Council. She killed the revaluation, and the Council continue to do what they are told. What is the plan for when the gap becomes a chasm
