The Portsmouth Indoor Pool usually closes once a year for improvements and maintenance. This year it was closed for over six weeks while the deck was upgraded. For reasons that confound seacoast swimmers, the Portsmouth YMCA pool usually does its maintenance at the same time… right after the Portsmouth Outdoor Pool closes for the season.
For those who love the Portsmouth Indoor Pool, it’s time to rejoice. The pool is open again, as of October 5th, 2022. The YMCA pool reopens Tuesday Oct 11, 2022.
