After all that work on community power, how many of us actually went for the all-in green energy? Last count was 107 customers, out of over 11,000 homes. That’s about 1%.
At the 6/5/23 City Council meeting, John Tabor admits that this is disappointing given all he did to market Community Power. He said he would meet with his group to see how the group “could nudge” more residents into this all-green power. Maybe he should have asked the residents before embarking on this failed project. Turns out, very few want overpriced energy!
