Did you know that the City’s budget surplus from Fiscal Year 2023 (that ran from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023) was the largest on record at $7.2 million.  That means that the City’s ability to estimate revenues was under by $4.8 million and the City’s estimated expenses for that period were $2.4 million above the actual expenses.

  • Did you know that the Fiscal Year 2023 surplus of $7.2 million is the 10th year in a row that the City missed the mark?
  • Did you know that this means the taxpayer is being overcharged by this amount for services promised and never delivered?
