Here’s an update to our previous story: https://portsmouthpulse.com/2025/04/09/outrageous-conflict-of-interest-owner-of-66-coakley-road-seeks-private-use-of-city-property-for-free-forever/ regarding the City giving land to the assistant Mayor.

January 31, 2025 – Joanna Kelley and Chris Adams (husband and wife) purchase 555 F. W. Hartford Drive for $ 940,000.00

March 17, 2025 –  Chris Adams requests and receives a license agreement approval from the City Council to install fence on and enclose approximately 6,500 SF of city land for private use.  House lot of 66 Coakley Road  (private property) is 7,000 SF

April 2, 2025 – Revocable License agreement signed by City Manager and Chris Adams recorded at the registry of deeds. License agreement is valid for successors and assigns. (i.e. future owners)

April 3, 2025 – 66 Coakley Road put on the market for $775,000.00

April 17, 2025 – 66 Coakley Road price cut to $739,900.00
