PORTSMOUTH, N.H., June 4, 2025 — Local Domino’s franchise owners Dave Jenks and Dominic Benvenuti have earned national recognition, receiving Domino’s prestigious Gold Franny Award for operational excellence. The honor places the pair among the top-performing franchisees in the country, selected from more than 750 U.S. franchise owners.

The Gold Franny Award, Domino’s highest distinction, is awarded based on rigorous performance metrics including operational audit scores, community engagement, store safety, and team member morale.

“I cannot think of two more deserving individuals to receive a Gold Franny Award than Dave and Dominic,” said Debbie Sweeney, Domino’s senior vice president of franchise relations and system engagement. “They are incredibly hard-working, and their involvement in the community and motivation to be the best of the best make them an incredible asset to Domino’s.”

This marks the eighth Gold Franny Award for Jenks and Benvenuti. Their journey with Domino’s began decades ago — Jenks joined in 1980 as an assistant manager, and Benvenuti followed in 1989. The two partnered in 2000 and now operate 25 Domino’s stores across Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.

“Domino’s has delivered, to us and our families, the dream of owning and operating our own business,” said Jenks. “It truly provides a fantastic opportunity to those who show initiative and a desire to advance. I’m a firm believer in giving back.”

Benvenuti emphasized their team’s role in their continued success. “It’s not just about improving our business,” he said. “It’s about being a part of the community. We must give credit to the great team members in all our stores. Their motivation inspires us to be better for them.”

The pair’s story reflects Domino’s broader franchise model, where more than 95% of U.S. franchise owners began their careers as part-time delivery drivers or pizza makers.

About Domino’s Pizza®

The company reported $19.2 billion in global retail sales in the trailing four quarters ending March 23, 2025. As of early 2025, 99% of Domino’s stores were operated by independent franchisees. In the U.S., more than 85% of 2024 retail sales were generated through digital channels.
